Underdog Rescue of Florida

"Shortly after adopting Zoey Rose we adopted a male fawn boy from Florida Boxer Rescue, to match Zoey's energy and play style. They get along very well. I have to tell you, we are totally in love with our girl Zoey. You just wouldn't believe how wonderful a girl she is.  She has even trained my male cat to behave like a dog.  We call him our 'catdog'.  We can never thank Underdog Rescue enough for our girl.  I have enclosed pictures.  It was tough to send only a few as we must have hundreds :)"
Hi, We went on a fun boat trip with the dogs last weekend and got some cute pics and wanted to share with you.  Things are going well. Fish has had 2 negative skin scrapes and we haven't had any relapses since we stopped treating him for the demodex about 1 month ago. Hope all is well with you.
This is Skippy.   Skippy and his new dad travel to northern Canada and go wilderness hiking. Skippy loves to hike and ride in the canoe.  He carries his own food and supplies in his very own backpack.  They spend weeks in the wilderness enjoying nature.
"These are new pictures of Bailey AKA Roscoe adopted in April, 07. He is
still providing joy and happiness wherever he goes. A neighbor of
ours commented that he is always wagging his tail and is such a happy
little dog that he is just happy to be alive! He certainly is
bringing love and happiness to us!!! Thanks Underdog Rescue....."
It’s been a long time since you’ve heard from us, but I wanted to send a few pictures of Angel (AKA Bootsie). She is so wonderful and loving – we thoroughly enjoy her. Hope all is well with you and “Underdog Rescue”
"Beggar is such a sweet and fun-loving doggie! He enjoys dancing and waving his paws in the air while he sits on his hind-legs. It is the cutest act I have ever seen. If it was not for UnderDog Rescue I would have never been able to take Beggar home. He enjoys, actually LOVES, playing with other dogs, and he adores children and other passerbys. He is quite the charmer too, and he certainly knows how to play the puppy-dog eyes look to get what he wants. He eats a TON too! He loves all of his toys sooooo much and enjoys playing fetch! Awwww, I love him, and he is a little fluffball snuggler as well. Again, thank you UnderDog Rescue for giving Beggar a loving home and for saving many many more animals in need of wonderful homes. Thank you so much Underdog!"  :)

"We adopted Joey....we renamed him Ozzy.  He is such a joy & a wonderful addition to our family, we're all having so much fun with him!  I'm sending a few pictures I've taken of him, you can see that our 9 yr old dog has adjusted very well to him, too :)  He's very smart, and very, very sweet, just a little love. He's got such a funny personality.  We're so glad we found your organization online that led us to Ozzy, thank you again!"

"Wanted to send you some photos.  Casper is doing well.  He is still fearful outside, of other people and dogs but has made some progress and has touched a couple of noses and been petted.  I am working with him to help him relax.  He is very very happy inside!  He loves my lap."
"Bart is doing beautifully.  He is such a sweet boy.  Thank you for rescuing him.  I can't imagine being without him at this point.  I bought a book on Schnauzers and it describes him to a 'T'.  It did say that Schnauzers were affectionate and gave hugs just like Bart.  He has so many friends here.  All the dog owners in my neighborhood walk their dogs around the same time.  Bart has his favorites: Rudy, Cisco and Rosie.  He is very happy.  Thanks again!"
"We just wanted to write and let you know how things are going. We just love Noodles. He is fitting in just great here in Lake Placid, loves to chase and play tug with his big brother Ringo and is very happy to jump in bed for some cuddle time at night!  We have attached some photos both before and after his haircut. Thank you so much - we will be sure to tell everyone how wonderful UnderDog Rescue is!  Thank you again!"

"I saw Marty on the internet and he stole my heart immediately.  I wondered why no one would want him, because they said that he was in rescue for over a year.  Then I realized it was because he was partially blind.  I took him to the eye Dr. and he had a cataract surgery and now he can see!!!  (Not perfectly but much better.)  He is the light of our lives and makes us laugh every day.  We can't remember what it was like before we had him.  Thanks UNDERDOG if you hadn't pulled him from the shelter he would be dead, and I can't even stand the thought of that!!!!  Here he is hiking in Aspen!  He is a traveling fool, and we never want to go anywhere without him! "
"Our greyhound died a year ago, and we started looking on Petfinder for another dog.  It was very heart wrenching, but I could not go any longer without a dog to love. We were going to go to a pet store, but we wanted a dog from a foster Mom so the dog would be socialized and house trained.  After we looked for HOURS we found a puppy that looked in need of a home, and we applied for her. She has been the most wonderful pet anyone could ever have! Her name was Cha Cha, but we renamed her to Bailee She caught on to her new name very fast.  Bailee loves to watch TV and when a dog barks on TV she will bark back.  She very funny, and I love her VERY much."
It has been well over a year since we adopted Manny. You might not remember him and this is way late, but I wanted to let you know how absolutely wonderful this little dog is. Attached are some photos. Thank you so much for being a part of his rescue!!!

"What a blessing Emma has been to us!! From the moment I met her I knew she was the best girl ever. She is so sweet and loving, and what a good girl! She has adapted to her new home beautifully, and is getting along with all of her family members, including the cats!  She has definitely shaved some years off of our Harvey Gravy, he has found his inner puppy again. It is so wonderful to see her having such a carefree life after all of the responsibility of her puppies.  She is a very good eater and she lets us know that she wants to go out. She has done very well on her leash.  I imagine her foster mommy is missing her, but rest assured, we all love her very much.  Thank you so much again for all that you do, and for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of Emma’s Life, she has brought us all so much joy!" (Emma was rescued from a shelter with 9 newborn puppies.  She is on the left.)
